What makes a Skyfort Playground so good?

A Skyfort has a UV treated roof, entrances front and rear to allow for ease of access, flow through ventilation and a variety of entry methods, and also a sheltered sandpit. In addition to this, in an effort to aide the fight against childhood obesity, the Skyfort range is designed to assist children in developing their gross and fine motor skills, social skills and also ensure that they will not get bored with Skyfort as quickly as 4 walls and a roof. This is achieved by encouraging the child to use imaginative play methods rather than limiting the range of play.

If you have an idea for your Skyfort and it's not in the catalogue, remember that we sell the individual panels as well. So if you want to turn your yard into the Caribbean and your fort into a Pirate ship, simply add some panels of your choosing to any of our catalogue designs. Peppertown also has a wide range of accessories to keep your fort exciting for years to come, these include Swings, Rope Equipment, Climbing Walls, Monkey Bars and Balance Beams.

So what's stopping me building my own from scratch using my own plans?

At Peppertown, we understand the need for the 'weekend warrior' in all of us to break out from time to time. However, before rushing into building your own Fort from scratch, we strongly advise that the costs, both monetary and time, of such a project be taken into consideration. Skyfort offer a great design with superior strength using correct timber, plywood, screws and are specifically designed to keep the children safe playing on the playground. So before building your own playground make sure you use correct timber (NOT CCA) and make sure the structure is safe and designed correctly to keep your children safe.

Why is Skyfort the 'natural' choice?

Skyfort is the natural choice as a result of using an environmentally, and human, friendly alternative to CCA. The new treatment contains NO ARSENIC and all our timber products on Skyfort are treated with it. Our panels are specially made with each layer individually treated before being glued together, this means that if you decide you need to cut or trim a post or panel, you will not have treat the newly exposed timber, it's already done for you.

What warranty does Peppertown offer on its products?

• 12 months against defects in workmanship
• 12 months plastic and fibreglass on breakage
• 20 years against insect and bacteria on Envirolog (not on wane, checks, cracks, stains, bows or twists
